Scholarship

A scholarship award given each year to a senior graduating from Canandaigua Academy planning to attend college the following September.  The scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who demonstrates an in-depth understanding of ovarian cancer via an essay.

In 2020, we awarded Mr. Bradley Owens, who is attending the University of Scranton, for Occupational Therapy, with $2,500.

In 2021, we awarded Mr. Ben Volpe, pursuing a career in medicine, with $2,500. Mr. Volpe was selected from a broad range of applicants, and his background, essay, and commitment to the community provided us a compelling choice for this scholarship. We wish Mr. Volpe every success in his future endeavors!
